Geology,major and trace element studies of ore deposit indicate that super large nonmetal deposits of zeolite,alunite,pyrophyllite and dekite in eastern Zhejiang Province are found from in situ alteration of acid tuff lava by the reworking of volcanogenic hydrothermal solutionwhich dominates metallogenic fluids and mineralization is characterized by reduction process in alkaline media,depleted in SiO 2 and rich in Al 2O 3.K Ar and Rb Sr isotope systems are open in pyrophyllite and dekite mineralization,whereas usually closed in zeolite and alunite (only for K Ar) mineralization.K Ar and Rb Sr analysis results indicate that zeolite and alunite mineralization ages are 10~20 Ma younger than those of the tuff lave.
