The geological setting and geochemistry of Songxi Ag Sb deposit, northeastern Guangdong Province have been preliminarily studied. The results show that the deposit is characteristic of unique Ag Sb element combination, genetically related with basic volcanic action, and controlled by early Jurasic strata. It is suggested that the Songxi Ag Sb deposit is a new type of Ag Sb deposit with the genesis of volcanic exhalation sedimentary deuteric hydrothermal supraposition.
