Altered rock type ore body and quartz vein type ore body are two foundamental styles of mineralization of mesothermal gold deposits.Both of them are developed in Dongping gold deposit.Geochronologic studies show that there exists 33￣74 Ma time gap between them.Geologic observations also suggest that they were formed in different episodes.Moreover,they are different in some geochemical features.Consequently,this paper distinguishes three metallogenic episodes and several metallogenic stages.
