As a part of the system of computer design and analysis for multi-stage centrifugal compressor, a numerical method and computer code for performance prediction of multistage centrifugal compressor at design and off-design conditions have been presented firstly. A new code for solving the flow on S2 stream surface by matrix L- u resolution method has also been developed. As an example, a three-stage industrial blower fan is calculated and the results are close to the design parameters. Detail analysis of performance characteristics will be helpful to predict and assess the work condition of the every stage and of over all compressor, and to improve the design plan.
