The local heat/mass transfer distributions around the sharp 180 deg turn in a two-pass rib-roughened channel were meassured by using naphthalene sublimation technique. The rib angles were 90°, 45°and -45°. The rib pitch to height ratio(p/e) and rib height to hydraulic diameter ratio(e/D) were 10 and 0.05, respectively. Results show that the rib angle orientation has a significant effect on local heat/mass transfer distributions.
