In this paper, the uniform deterministic discrete method (UDDM) is combined with wide band model to calculate the total radiative exchange areas in a two-dimensional enclosure filled with nongray gas. Due to the advantages of UDDM over Monte Carlo in speed and convergence, the new proceeding can provide high accuracy with less computer cost.
