The random trajectory model for modeling the pulverized coal particle motion and its course of variation is widely used in numerical calculation of coal combustion. However, some defects of the model were discovered and the improvements on the model have been made. The numerical calculation of the motion and combustion of PC particle in W-shape flame boiler was made by the model improved and some beneficial results have been achieved.
