摘要 介绍了“绕射辐射振荡器研究”的成果,简述了理论分析、三维计算及设计方法;给出了实验结果并对有关问题进行了讨论。实验管测试的主要参量为:在工作电压2400~4000V;频率范围f=84~104GHz内测得高频振荡,最大输出功率达200mw。频率范围f=60~82GHz;最大输出功率达1.3W。同时介绍了这种器件在科学技术中的应用。 The diffraction radiation oscillator, called DRO for short or Orotron, is a sort of new vacuum electronic device with an open resonatot and a reflecting grating in millimeter and submillimeter band. This device is based on the Smith-Purcell effed. In a sense,DRO is called a Smith-Purcell effect free electron laser. In this paper, the initial test results of 3 mm and 4 mm DRO are reported. The main experimental results are: from 2400 V to 4000 V, the tube operates at 84-104 GHz band, and the maximum output power is about 200 mW,from 2200 V to 3800V,the maximum output power is 1. 3W at 60-87 GHz band. The design methods of the device,linear theory and 3 dimension numerical simulation are introduced in brief.
