通过对456名吉林省大学生人体身高的调查，用线性回归分析得到遗传率的点估计值h^2≈50％，并应用多元回归分析方法对人体身高与遗传及环境关系进行了初步研究，建立了可预测身高的数学模型。其线性方程为：

Investigating the height of 456 students of Jilin Province,the point estimate value of heritability h^2≈50％ was obtained by linear regression analysis.and the preliminary study of relationships between height and inheritance and environment was carried out by using multiple regression analysis method.A mathematical model which can forecast the height of a people was established,its linear equation is y＝57.42＋9.64x_1＋0.287x_2＋0.293X_3—1.47X_4一2.36X_5—3.58X_6.
