介绍了局域网的多媒体教学系统的设计方法,着重讨论了基于Novell网络环境下的多媒体通讯和远程网络监控的实现技术.还提出了一种新的自适应网络流量控制方法,并将其嵌入到多媒体网络教学系统MENIS的接口协议中.MENIS是作者自行设计的商品化软件,目前已应用于各类教学和培训.

This paper describes several problems in the implementation of Mutimedia Education Network System and pivotal technology employed. They discuss multimedia communication and the design of network monitor in Novell network environment. They also provide a self- adapted network flow control technique applied in MENIS system. As an important part of the commercial system MENIS, the above ideas and designs has been proved efficient in practice.
