摘要
读这三则故事,心潮难平!讲的是创业的故事,体现的却是美国人Dare to dream的精神。最终,他们都事业有成,然而,文章详写细画的却是他们的“山穷水尽”时。时闻个别大学生,甚至中学生,小遇挫折(“失恋”,“考试开红灯”等),竟写下了“绝命书”。他们dare not dream,他们如此不堪一击!第一则故事的结尾蕴寓着深刻:Adversity taught them what every successful entrepreneur knows: reward cannot be separated from risk. 第二则故事最感人最可回味的一句是:"Can you demonstrate a prototype by June 24 ?" an executive asked紧接着,我们读到:"You bet", he said, hoping his voice sounded confident. 在第三则故事中,Aguiar读大学三年级时父亲骤逝,他为此辍学。其最叫人揪心处是:When former classmates invited him to graduation parties, Aguiar told them, "I’m too busy to get away." In reality, he was too depressed. 令人欣慰又发人深思的是文末的一句:This past winter, Aguiar, Iectured business students at the university he was forced to leave 13 years earlier. 当然,文章值得细咀处远不止此,读者不妨独步其间。
