Abstract Since Song Dynasty, people always paid attention to the percentage of silver currency.Two of silver currency in common use concerned with percentage were“Hua Yin”and“Wen Yin”.“Hua Yin”was used from Song Dynasty to Ming Dynasty,“Wen Yin”was used in Ming and Qing Dynasty.Author study the percentage of“Hua Yin”and “Wen Yin” according the historical materials.
