摘要
Oral and external (on the umbilicus) application of Chinese medicine Zhenxianling (an anti-epileptic agent) to a series of 239 cases of epilepsy of various types obtained a total effective rate of 95.4%. Moreover, an effective rate of 97.2% was achieved in grand mal epilepsy. All cases in this series were treated for 6 months to 2 years, and followed up for 6 months to 3 years. This agent is recommendable for it being prepared exclusively with Chinese medicine, convenient in use without side-effects.
