蜚蠊在城市生态系统中已上升为仅次于蚊蝇的有害昆虫之一．随着城市化的进程，其危害将日趋严重．必须予以高度重视才能控制其种群数量增长．本文对国内几种可以进入居室的蜚蠊，在综合防治原则、实验研究方法的改进、开发利用等方面，做了有重点的研究介绍．

The cockroach,an important pest for public health,has a relatively high population density in the municipal ecosystem.More than 5,000 species of cockroach have been found in the world. Among the approximate 250 recorded species in China,less than 10 percent can form indoor harm.This paper consists of three parts: Ⅰ Important species of cookroach in China and its harm. Ⅱ The principles of integrative control of cockroaches and the improvement in approaches of experiments & researches. Ⅲ The exploitation and the vast future of the utilization of cockroaches as medical insects,food insects,and forage insects.
