The Experimental Observation on Three Freshwater Shrimps Eating Adhesive Fish Eggs

实验认为:三种淡水虾对鱼卵的危害以日本沼虾最大,其次为小长臂虾、秀丽白虾,它们表现出不同的摄食节律。摄食鱼卵不但对湖泊水库中自然繁殖的经济鱼类、凶猛鱼类及野杂鱼种群有一定的调控作用,而且对孵化期较长的经济鱼类的受精卵移植效果有较大的影响。

The experimental results showed that the harmful order of three freshwater shrimps to fish eggs is Macrobrachium nipponense, Palaemonetes sinensis, and Palaemon modestus. They have different feeding rhythm in a day. These shrimps eating fish eggs not only has regulative effects to the population of economic, voracious and unwanted fishes which can naturally reproduce in lakes and reservoirs, but also has great effects to the translation results of economic fishes with long hatching period.
