摘要
In this note we discuss the problem of transforming certain infinite matrices into theJordan normal forms over an uncountable algebraically closed field or a finite field.The mainmethod is compactness arguments through which one can connect properties of finite andinfinite matrices.The basis of these arguments is a result of Abian and the compactnesstheorem of model theory.
