Two curves have been identified above the liquidus in a binary Pb-Sb alloy phase dia-gram. The curves were obtained from thermal differential analysis and electrical resistivityexperiments and corresponded to sudden changes in the thermal effect and electricalresistivity curves. The zone between the two curves is called abnormal zone. When themelt of Pb-Sb alloys was superheated into the range of temperatures in the abnormal zone,
