摘要
系统研究了黑纹粉蝶越夏蛹和越冬蛹体内过氧化氢酶(CAT)活力的变化。结果表明:(1)越夏蛹在越夏期间CAT活力处在低水平,CAT活力的降低与夏季高温密切相关,(2)越冬蛹在越冬期间CAT活力处在高水平,CAT活力的升高与冬季低温密切相关;(3)滞育肾的CAT活力比同期的非滞育肾明显要低,但在它们的幼虫期和预蛹期,CAT活力没有显著差异。这一生化现象有助于我们进一步理解,为什么高温能够延缓滞育的发育,使越夏代成虫趋于分散羽化,而低温能够促进滞育的发育,使越冬代成虫趋于集中羽化,以及为什么越夏蛹的死亡率比越冬蛹明显更高。
Changes of catalase (CAT) activity between the aestival pupae andhibernal pupae of the cabbage worm, Pieris melete Menetries were systematically studied. The results were as follows. (1 ) The aesivating pupae showed a decreased CAT activity during the diapausing period. The decline of CAT activity had a close relation to the high temperature in summer. (2)The hibernating pupae showed an increased CAT activity during the diapausing period. The rising of CAT activity was closely related to the low temperature in winter. (3) The CAT activity of non -diapausing pupae was higher than that of diapausing pupae, but the significant difference of CAT activity was not found at their larval stage and prepupal stage. This biochemital phenomenon can help to understand why high temperatures could delay the development of summer diapaus and the butterflies from aestivatrig pupae had a tightly synchronized emergence,and whylow temperatures could enhance the development of winter diapause and the butterflies from hibernating pupae had much longer and less Synchronized emergerce,and why aestivating pupae had a much higher mortulity rate than that of hibernating pupae.
