patients undergoing upper-medial partial fibulaectomy were followed up for 1￣ 8 years.Clinical functions of bilateral ankle joints and plantor arches were evaluated and X-ray examination was carried out in these patients.Moving range and myodynamia of active muscle in bilateral ankle joints were evaluated by ankle joint function-evaluating instrument designed by the authors themselves and compared.The data from the examination demonstrated that partial fibulaectomy on the upper and middle part had no influence on the function of ankle joint.The authors suggest that it would be an applicable approach to take fibula as donor.
