论城市空间的审美特性

Esthetic Features of Urban Space

本文认为城市空间作为城市构成的最基本元素，在功能上表现为市民公众生活的必要场所，在形象上以虚实对比、图底关系的方式展示着城市景观，同时成为人类与外界沟通的无形桥梁，因此具有功能与文化、实体与虚空及人类与自然相互通达的审美特性，提出了通达之美是城市空间审美本质的新观点。

In this paper, the urban space is regarded as the most fundemental element of urban structure. It functions as the site necessary for public life of the citizens and builds the image of the city by demonstrating urban landscape in the form of contrast between substantiality and insubstantinlity,and relation between picture and background. Also, it serves as an invislble bridge that connects man and the outer world. Accordingly, the urban space possesses the esthetic features of making possible the interconnection between function and culture, between entity and emptiness. and between man and nature. All this urges the author to propose the now viewpoint that the esthetic essence of urban space lies in the beauty of interconnection and accessibility.
