在大型露天矿山，采用大吨位矿用电动轮自卸汽车取代小吨位矿用汽车，从管理、经济效益及维修方面所具有的优越性，业已为国内外实践所证实。本文对矿用电动轮汽车传动原理及优点、国内研制与使用现状及今后发展趋势进行了较全面的叙述，并对其所面临的挑战和未来前景进行了预测。

In China and other countries,the practice has proved,in large-sized open pitmines,the use of the large-tonnage mine motor-wheeled dumping trucks instead of small-tonnage mine trucks has advantages in management,economical benefit and maintenance.This paper describes in detail the drive mechanism and merits of mine motor-wheeledtruck,the present situation of its development and application in China,and the futuretrends,also predicts the challenges and future faced by the mine motor-wheeled trucks.
