PVM代表并行虚拟机即Parallel Virtual Machine,是一种基于工作站网络群机的异构并行软件环境,本文详细地分析了其体系结构、计算模型、内部实现机制、用户编程接口,并指出了它的应用前景及存在的缺陷。
PVM stands for Parallel Virtual Machine, which is a heterogeneous parallel programming software environment on base of workstation cluster. Here we make profound analysis to its system architecture, computing model, the principles of inner implementation, and application programming interface. Also we propose its applying prospecls and point out its existing defects.
