胶东蛇绿岩套的发现及其地质意义

The Discovery of an Ophiolite Suite in Eastern PartOf Shangdong Peninsula and its Significance

北起威海市东的烟墩山，南至乳山海阳所，在原胶东群内部，新发现一条ＮＮＥ方向的蛇绿岩套，包括蛇纹岩、堆晶辉石岩。变质基性熔岩和硅质岩等，变质达角门岩相，出露宽约１５ｋｍ，可分为西部无榴辉岩和东部含榴辉岩的残片两部分。这一发现对于解释榴辉岩超高压带成因及华北陆块与扬子陆块关系等均有重要意义。

A Proterozoic ophiolite suite, stretching from Yandun mountain of Weihai to Haiysngsuo ofRushan has been discovered in eastern part of Shandong Peninsula. It is NNE directed, more than 100 km long,15 km wide, and consists of serpentinite, pyroxene cumulate, metabasite and siliceous rock. The rocks hadundergone amphibolite factes metamorphism. Eclogite does not occur in western part but in eastern part of theophiolite suite. This discovery is of great significance for clearibyng the generation of Su-Lu ultrahigh--pressurebelt and the relationship of crust evolution between North and South China platform.
