摘要
新研制出一种能自动、高分辨率检测冰芯多种物理参数的测试系统,简称IPM系统。该系统采用激光和计算机技术,实现了在同一个冰片试样上自动地检测出气泡尺寸及浓度、冰密度、微细层(微粒层/气泡层)、微粒和冰晶尺寸等5个物理特征参数随深度变化的高分辨率剖面。冰片试样的切取即不会破坏冰芯的连续性,又最大可能地节约了冰芯。此外,IPM系统在保证测量精度的条件下,大大提高了检测速度。
A new automatic high-resolution measuring system,named IPM (ice core physical parameter measureing) system,has been developed recently for measuring multiple physical parameters in an ice core. Making use of laser and computer technique, this system can automatically measure profiles of five physical featured parameters, including air bubble size and concentration, fine stratigraphy (dust layer / air bubble layer), dust and ice crystal size in the same ice slice sample, along the depth of an ice core. The method of ice slice sampling does not break the continuity of ice core and spare ice core to the most. In addition, IPM system increases greatly the speed of measurement on the condition of the precision guaranteed.
