本文简要地介绍了钪－钠金属卤化物灯电弧管中钠外逸与氢气渗入内管的影响，着重探讨了外灯管制作技术。

Abstract The influence of sodium atoms escaping from arc tube and hydrogen atoms permeating into arc tube of Sc-Na metal Halide lamp are described. The technique for making outer bulb of metal halide lamp is emphatically mentioned.
