本文论述了电源电压为１２０Ｖ，６０Ｈｚ，功率为３５Ｗ－１５０Ｗ系列高压钠灯的设计特点。找到了提高灯光效的设计途径。完善了高压钠灯短电弧管的封接工艺。为改善灯的启动性能而专门研制了新的镇流器和电子启动器。

Abstract The design features of 35W-150W high pressure sodium lamps for power supply of 60Hz, 120V are described. The key points of design for increasing luminous efficiency of low power sodium lamps is introduced. The seal craft of short arc tube of high pressure sodium lamps are improved. The new ballasts and electronic start of low power high pressure sodium lamps for improving the start charactristics are researched and produced.
