The well-posedness of nonlinear size structured population models is studied. The nonlinearities are introduced by assuming the vital parameters(the birth rate, the death rate, and the growth rate) to be density dependent. The ideal adopted here is based on the method of Gurtin and MacCamy [4] used for nonlinear age-dependent population models. The net reproductive number is introduced and used to determine the local and global stability of trivial equilibrium. The stability conditions of trivial equilibrium are obtained.
