摘要
In academic circles there are different views on question if existed heat-treatment technique for ancient bronze mirrors in China. On this question a series of simulating tests were carried out. By using quenching and tempering the same structure as in ancient bronze mirrors was obtained, therefore, it was proved that Chinese ancient bronze mirrors underwent heat-treatment. Meanwhile the view that the tempered structure of bronze at high temperature is analogous to its quenched structure at high temperature was corrected.
