摘要
On May 16 Chinese President Jiang Zemin gave a welcoming ceremony to visiting Surinamese President Runaldo R. Venetiaan in front of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Jiang said he was happy to see the smooth growth of ties and fruitful co-operation with Surinam in the fields of politics, economy and culture. Venetiaan expressed his conviction in strengthening relations between China and Surinam in every field.
