Two new dioxo tetraamine ligands L1 and L2 have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, IR, MS and elemental analysis,Their protonation eonstants and complex formation constants with Cu2+have been determined by potentiometric titration, The X-ray crystal structure of L1 has been determined.
