摘要 DNA adduction with nicotine in mouse liver at environmental doses has been observed using 14C-label by accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS).An improved detection limit of DNA adducts of 1 adduct per 1011 nucleotides has been given. It is primarily proposed that nicotine appears carcinogenic via its conversion to nitrosamines.
