摘要
X-ray diffraction has been used to investigate a tiquid crystattine cyctotetrasiloxane mith combination of a mesogen pendant on the siloxane ring. The change of Bragg spacings in solid state and SA phase of the samples with different thermat treatments was detected. It is assumed that the aggregate structure of this sample agrees mith bundte structure arranged in interdigitating layers, and the stloxane ring planes are parallet to the long axes of the molecutes in the mesophase and crystat state.
