摘要
通过对转基因香料烟PK-873自1989年进入大田试验以来,各种重要农业性状的系统化研究,发现该品种抗烟草花叶病毒(Tobacco mosaic virus,简称TMV)性能突出,遗传稳定性好,且栽培管理和晾制过程简单易行,宜在我国东北、华北和黄淮平原种植。在辽宁丹东自然条件下该品种田间发病率一般低于千分之一。人工接种TMV(0.5μg/mL)40d后,发病率一般不足20%。烟草总公司组织的评吸试验证明PK-873的质地优于国内主要香料烟品种(沙姆逊和泰国一号)。
Virus infection and related disease is one of the major problems in tobacco productivity. Using genetic engineering techniques,we have produced a virus resistant transgenic plant, PK-873. Through the past 4 years of field trial,we have analyzed various important agronomical traits of PK-873 and found that is is highly resist ot tobacco mosaic virus infection. The antiviral characteristics of PK-873 is stably inherited. Husbandry of PK-873 plants and processing of its leaves are relatively easy, yet the ratio of annual income to input is high. It is suitable for farmers to grow in mountainous area. Since tar content is low in PK-873 when compared ot other currently used varieties,smoking of PK-873 cigarettes poses considerable less heath risks.
