A new type of glucose sensor based on the ckemiluminescence analysis ispresented. The sensor is fabricated with an enzyme-immobilized membrane, a photodiode and a cellulose acetate membrane. Compared with other types of glucose sensor , thisproposed sensor has some reatures, such as the simplisity in structure, high sensitivity,fast response rate and longterm stability in operation. The linear working range is threeorders of magnitude, with a detection limit of 5 PPm. More than 500 samples can becontinously analyzed and good agreement has been obtained with O-toluidine method.
