The fabrication of 30 inch conductor tubes for offshore drilling operation is described in this paper. Proposals are put forward for the key requirements of design, main structure configurations, selection of materials and fixing of key deminsion for mutual fitting. The means and measures for quality inspection of products are also discussed. Special attention has been paid to the quick-acting connector of the conductor tubes. .
