Treatment of Schizophrenosis with Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture combined with Western Medicine

本法治疗６４例与单纯药物治疗６０例进行对照观察。结果提示，两组疗效经统计学处理无显著差异，但前者出现疗效时间较后者为早，且抗精神药物用量少，所产生的副作用相对少。

Sixty four cases of Schizophrenosis were treatmentwith acupuncture and electroacupuncture combined withWestern medicine (experimental group) and 60 cases withsimple Western medicine (control group). It was obervedthat there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in therapeutic effectS. However, thetherapeutic effect obtained inth experimental group appeared earlier than that in the control, the amount of antipsychotics used and the side effects induced in the formerwere less than those in the control.
