作者在多年从事蜘蛛资源调查和稻田蜘蛛保护利用研究的同时，对拟水狼蛛（ＰｉｒａｔａｓｕｂｐｉｒａｔｉｃｕｓＢｏｅｓｅｎｂｅｒｇｅｔＳｔｒａｎｄ）拟环纹豹蛛（Ｐａｒｄｏｓａｐｓｅｕｄｏａｎｎｕｌａｔａ）等２０余种常见优势种生态进行了调查与饲养的观察研究。这部分蜘蛛在稻田中常年居留，对农作物上多种害虫有很好的抑制作用，是稻田害虫的重要天敌．

Surveys on resources of spiders and studies on protection and utilization of paddy spider had been carried on for years by the authors.The ecology of more than 20 species such as Pirata subpiraticus Boes. et Sir. and Pardosa pseodoannulata were investigated in the field or in the raising room.These spiders were found inhibiting in paddy field for months, performed as control and as important natural enemies for various injurious insects in paddy field.
