摘要
近年来,棉花生物技术发展迅猛,尤其是棉花基因工程的突破,为棉花杂种优势利用开辟了广阔的新领域。本文对棉花细胞质雄性不有机理、基因工程杂交棉、组织培养诱导棉花雄性不育新类型等作了探讨和综述;并对生物技术和棉花杂种优势利用的前景作了展望。
In the recent years,the well developed biotechnology of cotton,especiallythebreakthrough of cotton genetic engineering has provided a novel research area for hybrid cottonproduction This article reviewed and discussed some prospects as follows: ( 1 ) the theoreticalprimciple studies on cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS )of cotto; 2 )the application of trans-genic cotton varieties on hybrids cotton production;3)the genetic engineering hybrid cotton;(4)inducing the new male sterility of cotton by tissue culture,et al.A perspective of the fu-ture contributions of biotechnologyto hybrid cotton production had been also presented.
