陆地棉野生种系的利用研究

Utilization and Studies on Wild Races of G.hirsutum L.

从１９８０年起先后通过引进和出国考察采集，迄今我所已保存研究了包括陆地棉的７个野生种系和其他野生类型的原始材料２００余份。此期间研究了各种系及类型的有关形态特征、生长发育特性、种子和纤维的有关性状；鉴定研究了可为遗传育种利用的有益特性，并通过与栽培品种杂交，将育种需要的抗病虫、耐干旱、耐盐碱和纤维高强优质等有益性状向栽培品种转育。经１０余年的研究工作，取得很有价值的科研结果，选出了一批转育特性可供利用的新种质材料。

More than 200 wild materials of seven races and other wild types were collected from abroad.Researches on the morphorlogical character,growth factor ,development of seed and fibre,and potential ultilization for cotton breeding of them had been conducted.The use-ful germplasm had been also transfered into the cultivated backgrounds by hybridizing the wildraces and types with cuItivars, resulted in developing new high yielding strains with gcod qual-ity, early maturity and multiple一resistance during the past 10 years, Some of the new materi-als can be released for the ultilization in cotton breeding.
