A budget model of dissolved oxygen in western xiamen Sea is established,Fiveprocesses are included in this model:photosynthesis,sea-air gas exchange,decomposition of organicmatter in the sediment,bacterial consumption of oxygen in water,and respiration of organisms,Theresults show that the srudied area has some potential capacity to accept waste water.
