广东省麻风康复试点项目工作总结

REPORT OF LEPROSY REHABILITATION PROJECT IN GUANGDONG

广东省于1990年6月开始在东莞市开展麻风康复试点项目。由于该市的病例数不足,1991年起,试点项目逐步扩展到韶关、清远、潮州和广州等市。经过两年多时间的实践探索,麻风康复医疗已取得一定的成绩和经验,为全面铺开此项工作打下了基础。

The report have summarized the rehabilitation project practised in Guang dong,although the achievements and experences heve been reached,problems and troubles are still existed what should be sloved in the next period of the project prac-tised. -There are 8 items included in the rehabilitation project,962 cases of deformity have been investigated.From July 1990 till May 1993,all of items but operation have been completed and the better results have been reached.This rehabilitation project have made a big progress to' the rehabilitation work in the whole province of Guangdong.At the same time of the project practised,231 cases o?deformity have been operated,1,000 cases cured leprosy patients have used footwears to prevent deformity and 310 artificial limbs have been manufactured for the amputation patients,those results were made in other places outside the project covered.At present,the leprosy rehabilitation project have advanced a great leap in all province.The problems faced to the project are the fields located at the different places,it is difficulty to be managed by doctors,the other is less experence.Because those problems existed,some contents of this project can not be fulfil quality requirement.For the project can be spreaded to the whole province,it is necessary that make sure the main items,simplify the investigation methods and utilize the technique what can be mastered by the paramedical wokers and active patients.For instance,if the basic record should be mastered by paramedcal workers and active patients,the desired results,in the discover of the nerves injured and the treatment of no pain neuritis will have been achieve in the hext rehabilitation project.
