在分析地杂波强度的基础上，提出了一种估算机载预警雷达天线副瓣要求的新方法。与现有的方法相比，它更加完整地描述了天线副瓣的要求和分布趋势，所提出的天线指标也更加合理。

A new way is proposed to evaluate the sidelobe requirement of an AEW radar based on analysing the clutter intensity.Compated with present ways,it describes the sidelobe requirement and distribution trend more perfectly and the sidelobe requirement proposed with the new way is more reasonable.
