WHEN I first visited Tan-zania,I was surprisedto find that acrobaticsplayed an important part in thecountry’s performing arts.As Ilearned more about the character ofthe young country and her tradi-tional arts,I came to admire evenmore the Tanzanians’love for theart of acrobatics.
