Boron isotopic geochemistry is a new research field, which began to be developed in the mid-late 1980s. It deals with many aspects, such as seawater and oceanic crust, marine and non-marine evaporate borates, lavas, massive sulfide deposits, thermal-water system, and the recent saline lakes.
