摘要
Isosarcophytol-A[（-）-1] and its acetate [（-）-2], two membrane-type diterpenoids, were first isolated from Australian soft coral （Nephthea brassica）. In a previous work, we described the synthesis of a （±）-isosarcophytol-A precursor 3. Herein we report the results of the intramolecular macrocyclization of precursor 3 induced by a low valent titanium reagent （TiCl<sub>4</sub>/Zn） and the following deprotection of silyl ether group and acetylation to give the title compounds （±）-1 and （±）-2. The synthetic route is outlined below:
