On the Urbanization of the pearl River Delta and the Development of Xinhui Municipal Construction

本文通过分析新会城市建设在珠江三角洲城市体系中的关系,从社会经济发展战略、城市区域发展规划,国土开发和环境保护等方面,尝试探讨新会经济发展和走向城市化过程中的一些问题。

This paper tackles some of the issues on the economic development and urbanization of Xinhui. The issues are dealt with from such viewpoints as the position of Xinhui municipal construction in the town system of the pearl River Delta strategiesfor economic growth, plans for developing urban districts, the use of land resources, and environmental protection.
