An Analysis of the Investigations on Demodectic Infection in Gailin

本文报道桂林市区772人蠕形螨感染情况的调查分析,阳性者346人,感染率为44.82％(346/772),男性为48.07％(172/358),女性为42.03％(174/414),男女感染率差别无显著性(x^2=2.81,P<0.05)。面部有无皮损者感染率差别有高度显著性(x^2=12.84,P<0.01)。

Here is the report of the results of an investigation on demodectic infection. 772 subjects were investigated, 346 of them showed positive and the infection rate was 44. 82% (346/772) which for male was 48. 07 (172/358), and for female 42. 03(174/414),showing no significant difference(x^2=2.81,P>0.05). But obvious differences can be seen btween those who have or have no facial lesions (x^2= 12.84,P<0.01).
