EUROCODE AND EUROPEAN STEEL DESIGN EDUCATION PROGRAM

本文就近年来欧洲钢结构工程领域中的一些进展,简要介绍了由于欧洲统一市场形成对欧洲钢结构建筑行业产生的巨大影响,欧共体国家为此所组织的一系列重大开发研究项目:组织编写了欧洲成套钢结构设计规范;制订了广泛推进新规范的欧洲钢结构教育计划;在钢结构制造安装方面推广运用计算机制造集成(CIM)技术等。

This paper describes the development in Europe on steel structural engineering.The establishment of the common Market has made ft great impact on steel construction sectors in Europe.EEC countries have initiated a number of large-scale research and development projects by this.A series of new European standards on steel structures,called Eurocde have been edited and drafted,the Europen Steel Design Education Program has been widely implemented to promote the new Eu'rocodes.The computer integrated manufacturing technology is going to be widely applied in fabrication and installation sectors,etc.
