在建立社会主义市场经济体制的新形势下,作者通过对农业高校在校生与毕业生基本能力的调查,探讨高教改革中一个亟待解决的问题:即面对市场经济,择业竞争日趋激烈,必须大力加强大学生分析问题、解决专业中实际问题等基本能力的培养。时代呼唤人才,社会求贤若渴。但只有那些既有专业知识又有很强基本能力者,在人才市场竞争中备受青睐。为此,学校应调整办学指导思想,学生应转变观念,齐心协力深化教改。

Under the new situation establishing the system of socialistic marke econ-omy,through investigation of the basic ability of both the college students and the grad-uates of agricultural universities and colleges,the author approached an urgent problem that must be settled facing marketeconomy and more fierce job competition,we have to enhance training the college students' basic ability of analysing and solving practical problems. The era calls for the talent and the society longs for the worthy, onlythose woh have both special knowlege and basicability are welcomed in the competition of the Halem market. Therefore,the college should adjust schooling guiding idecol-ogy and the students should change their views,so as to deepen educational reformation bv one: heart.
