选择对小鼠生长、体成份和饲料利用效率的遗传和生理影响

摘要 当今很多遗传问题都在实验动物中进行研究。小鼠,特别是以其作为动物育种模型进行研究,其理论基础Roberts已进行过讨论。实验室小鼠已作为哺乳动物的模型进行过选择生长的研究。生长是一种生物复杂的特性,包括身体各部分和器官的谐调发展,是一种复合性状,也是很多不同生理过程的最终结果,受许多基因控制。通过选择育种很容易控制生长,但其对生理和发育过程的明确效应还很难确定。
